MORE THAN JUST A CITY.
Białystok is the largest city in north-eastern Poland and the capital of the Podlaskie region. Known for its green spaces, colourful architecture and multicultural heritage, the city offers a more relaxed alternative to Poland’s larger tourist destinations.
At the heart of the city is the historic Market Square, surrounded by cafés, restaurants and the striking pastel-coloured buildings of the old town. Visitors can also explore Branicki Palace and its gardens, often described as the “Versailles of Podlasie”, while the city provides an ideal base for discovering the natural landscapes of the wider Podlaskie region.
For football fans, Białystok is home to Jagiellonia Białystok and the modern Municipal Stadium, making it an increasingly interesting destination for European football travel.
